Beautification Opportunities!

HACA is proud to partner with Keep Austin Beautiful and Blackshear Elementary to bring you the following two opportunities to positively impact public spaces around Rosewood Courts. The events listed below will occur simultaneously on Saturday, November 16th. Registration is required to participate and space is limited.

Poquito Creek Cleanup
Join Keep Austin Beautiful, HACA and the residents of Rosewood Courts for a Saturday morning cleanup and beautification project! We’ll be cleaning up the park, creek, and sowing some wildflowers along the way. What a great way to bring the neighborhood together!

Date: November 16, 2013
Time: 9am to 11am
Location: Rosewood Courts at Rosewood and Chicon
Meeting point: Rosewood Courts property, in front of the Goodwill building at 9am
Volunteers must register to participate.

Note to volunteers: Volunteers should wear comfortable work clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes such as sneakers or boots. Boots are preferred if you will be working in the creek. Volunteers should bring a water bottle and sun protection.

Blackshear Planting Day
Come help us plant trees, shrubs, and a garden at Blackshear Elementary!

Date: November 16, 2013
Time: 9am to 11am
Location: Blackshear ES, 1712 E 11th St Austin, TX 78702
Meeting point: Front entrance of Blackshear Elementary

Note to Volunteers: Be sure to bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as well as closed-toe shoes. Bring your own water bottle or cup, and water will be provided!
