Final Rosewood Choice Neighborhoods Plan Submitted to HUD

The Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) is pleased to inform you that the final Rosewood Choice Neighborhoods Planning Initiative Transformation Plan was submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on April 8, 2015. Designed to serve as a roadmap for the potential redevelopment of Rosewood Courts and improvements in the surrounding community, the Plan outlines the process that HACA engaged in to develop its proposed housing site concept for Rosewood Courts as well as new and/or enhanced supportive services and neighborhood assets. Over the next few months, HUD will review and provide feedback to HACA on the Transformation Plan. HACA anticipates that HUD will release the Notice of Funding for the 2015 Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant sometime in November 2015. At that time, HACA will consider whether or not to pursue the opportunity.
